This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bail, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. For any of those, reach the issuing court or the Otsego County Sheriff's Office directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Otsego County does not publish a public active-warrant list, and the county case search does not show warrant status. That means a phone call usually settles what a website cannot. Work out first which office made or issued the document you are holding, then use the route below.
- Whether a warrant exists on a court case: call 87-A District Court, which handles adult traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, arraignment, and bail matters and issues arrest and search warrants
- A felony or Circuit Court file: call the County Clerk's office, which keeps the 46th Circuit Court records
- An agency, service, or jail record: call the Sheriff's Office or its Records Division
- A police report or city ticket in Gaylord: call Gaylord Police, which also takes parking payments at its counter
- A public record in writing: file a request with the county FOIA Coordinator, or with the city for a city-held record
- Resolving or clearing a warrant: talk to a licensed Michigan attorney and the issuing court about a voluntary appearance, bail, or a motion to recall

Two other routes come up often. A support, custody, or parenting-time matter belongs with the Friend of the Court at 989-731-7450 or the Family Division at 989-731-0210, both at 800 Livingston Boulevard. A charging question belongs with the County Prosecutor's office at 800 Livingston Boulevard, Suite 3-D, 989-731-7430. Neither office publishes a warrant list.
If you write to us about a problem with this site, we will read it, but we cannot answer questions about a specific case or a specific person. Those answers have to come from the office holding the record.
